Delusional faith

Call it a delusion, but faith is my strength

They tell me that God's a delusion,
A product of mental confusion;
But their scoffing won't lure me away
From the God I encounter each day.

I don't want to argue with science.
There's no point in fighting defiance.
I'm not ignorant, nor yet naive;
But what I believe I believe.

The physical laws we live under
Cosmologists view with deep wonder.
But they think it happened by chance,
While, to me, it's a reason for thanks.
