"Then Ananias went to the house and entered
it. Placing his hands on Saul, he said, "Brother Saul, the Lord-Jesus,
who appeared to you on the road as you were coming here-has sent me so that
you may see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit." Acts 9:17
Did he just say "Brother"?
Didn't he know who this was?
The man they sent here to kill us?
He blundered into the house
Sparing no thought for the risk.
He trusted his "word from God"
Which might have been just a dream.
He spoke without checking facts...
Sure, they said Saul saw a light.
He didn't suspect a trick.
He went in faith - blind as Saul!
So where did this get him?
He's still here in Damascus
While Saul, now Paul, is famous.
He's content with that outcome.
He's simply not ambitious.
